About the Symposium
The Symposium on the Social and Structural Drivers of Health in Medical Education is taking place on Friday December 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. PT (11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET.)
The objectives of the Symposium are to learn about forces driving healthcare to better address health-related social needs, to explore innovative approaches to teaching about the social and structural drivers of health, and to share challenges and promising practices with colleagues from across the country.

The Symposium on the Social and Structural Drivers of Health in Medical Education is presented by the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine, the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and the National Collaboration for Education to Address the Social Determinants of Health (NCEAS) at Northwestern.
